During the autumn wave of the 2020 pandemic, ADL-CRC sought a way to break our communal isolation and give folks something to connect over and get excited about. The idea was simple: use ADL's Annual Walk Against Hate (typically, an in-person event) as a jumping off point and craft a COVID-safe journey that highlighted unique facets of our city's civil rights history, AND that could be experienced many different ways (virtual or otherwise.)
Over 1200 people took the 2020 Journey online and on the ground!
Use GPS with a mobile device and on-site QR codes, or simply scroll through stories, images and videos from the comfort of your own home to explore the amazing locations many of us pass every day without understanding how truly special they are.
